Boys National School Reunion Website is Up and Running

Dear Class Member:
The Letterkenny Boys National School Class of 1960 Reunion Committee is working hard to make the first reunion of the class of 1960 a success and we need your help!  The event will take place during the Letterkenny Reunion celebrations in August 2009 and although we are planning a number of activities in conjuction with the Letterkenny Reunion the highlight will be the retaking of the school photograph shown above with everyone in the same place nearly fifty years later.
While we know everyone in the photo and we have most of their addresses there are a few we are still looking for. Perhaps you can help - view the missing names here. For everyone else a letter will be sent out shortly inviitng you to the reunion. Please reply promptly as we want to ensure we have the right person, right address, etc. Even if you cant come to the event please get in contact with the committee.
We are also looking for memories, musings and/or photos from school that we can include in our website.
This occasion is not just for those in the photo. We want everyone who was in either 5th, 6th or 7th Class in 1960 to get involved.  
We need everyones support if we are to make this reunion a big success. Please let us know if you would like to participate by sending us an email and if you have any suggestions we would be glad to have them. Send anything you have to the Reunion Committee and we will guarantee their return to you if required. If you just want to drop us a line we would be delighted to hear from you. And don't forget to tell your friends about whats happening. 

Update 7th June 2009
The committee met on Saturday last and the following has been agreed
1. Get together in Gallaghers Hotel at 7 pm on Friday 7th August
2. Drinks and food will be available during the evening - at your own expense
3. Re-taking of the famous photo will be on the Saturday at 12 noon in the school yard
4. All past pupils from the 1959, 1960 and 1961 years are very welcome - names we already have will be contacted shortly
5. Those classmates that have received an invitation already please reply if you have not already done so
